Reports describe rising aggression by revolutionaries in Rio Grande do Sul near Yaguaron as generals Saravia Tareiz and Salgado join forces. In Britain a fire in London destroys a 1,500 foot square district near the Bank of England as prosecutors pursue marine trials over the Victoria disaster.

Second National Bank of Ashland reopened July 1 after closure June 5, deposits 745 with withdrawals 2,500. First National Bank of Cheyenne reported failure. John P.
