Girls Reserve Meet at School Auditorium
The Girl Reserves gathered Monday evening at eight in the school building auditorium. Mr Rainwater opened with a prayer and a programme followed. Miss Alice Friedman and Miss Gladys Beanland were proposed and accepted for active membership. Visitors attended, including Miss Mabry of Kosciusko who sang a solo with Mrs Oldham on piano. Regular meetings will be held each Monday at eight. All members are urged to attend and girls entering high school next year are invited.

W S Hickey Drops Dead While Plowing Farm Worker
W S Hickey, 46, a Lafayette county farmer, died suddenly Wednesday morning while plowing. He leaves a wife and three children and was a past master Mason. The funeral, conducted by Oscar Douglas, was held at Cambridge with Masons in charge. His brother and two sisters survive.
