Bessie Wohlleben became the wife of Leonard Cobbs of Covington Tennessee with Dr W D Hiedleston of the University performing the ceremony. The bride wore a brown travelling suit with seal skin trim and pink carnations. After a brief bridal tour the couple will reside in Oxford with the bride’s mother.

Mrs E S Bramlett Dies After Brief Illness
Mrs Eugene Bramlett died after a few days illness from Spanish influenza at her home between 1 and 2 pm on Wednesday. A former Woodson Venable of Louisville she moved here as a bride. A devout Methodist, she leaves a husband two children and many relatives. Burial is set for Thursday at St Peter's Cemetery with Rev Woolard officiating.

Death of Mr. Cecil Moore prompts Oxford memorial
Mr. Cecil Moore died at his home Monday afternoon after a three week illness of pneumonia. He was a traveling salesman for Swift & Company with headquarters in Oxford for many years. His remains were taken to Princeton, Kentucky, his former home town, for interment. He leaves a wife two young children a mother and numerous relatives and friends.
