The Board of Mayor and Aldermen met in the mayor's office on Tuesday January 3 at 7 pm with members and officers listed. They ordered a pending land matter adjourned to January 10 and set deadlines for service, plus routine financial and personnel actions and bids for county work and town clock maintenance.

Best man was Join Duncan. Widespread good-will for the couple. Socials: Prentiss Adams hosting a dance. Dr Gilberts dance well attended. Miss Joe Ella Quick of Marshall County visited Bay Springs over Christmas. J J Littlejohn to Merton Texas. Bertram Ford also left for Texas. Arthur Bowen of near Pontotoc visited. A H Wilson moved to Oxford. Bird hunting remains popular. Wishing FAGLe’s staff and readers a happy New Year.

By decree of the Chancery Court of LaFayette County Mississippi dated December 3 1903 I as Special Commissioner will on Thursday January 26 1905 sell for cash to the highest bidder at public outcry in front of the south door of the Lefayette County Court House the desert lands in LaFayette and Panola Counties Mississippi described as parts of Sections 10 and 11 including the NW corner starting point and boundary lines.
