Mrs. Mary Phipps Neill aged 85 wife of Capt. W. C. Neill died Sunday February 13 1921 at 4 PM after a fall left her crippled fifteen months earlier. She lived in Lafayette county all her life and was a member of First Presbyterian Church at Oxford. Rev. J A Christian conducted the funeral at 3 PM Monday after services at the Neill home, with pallbearers J S Farr E H Kimmons J S Douglas J J Vance S M Sneed and J R Crow. The family and friends from Tupelo Grenada Helena and Memphis attended the funeral and extended condolences to Capt. W. C. Neill.
