Washington February 11 Representative Albert D Shaw of Watertown New York former commander in chief of the Grand Army of the Republic was found dead in his room at the Riggs house. Officials report apoplexy as the probable cause of death with the physician arriving shortly after the discovery. He had just left a banquet at the Ebbitt house in honor of Leo Kassieur and appeared in good health before returning to his hotel room where his body was found face downward with slight facial bruising.
