WRECKED VETERANS EXCURSION TRAIN IN PA CASUALTIES

An excursion train on the Butler branch of the West Pennsylvania line carrying veterans from a reunion wrecked near Sarvers seven miles east of the city. Two killed and twenty two injured as rails spread on a rotten bridge end caused the crash. Notable victims include Captain Lowry and a six year old girl. several others fatally hurt.
