Two Young Men Arrested for Indianola Post Office Robbery
U S Deputy Marshal Sisk arrived from Clarksdale with two young men charged in the Indianola Miss post office robbery about a month ago. One man named Frank Wayne, a professional ball player, lacks a home while the other, Charles Mofit, identifies as an architect from Canton Ohio. Both were arrested at Shaw and held in Clarksdale jail.

Prohibition Still Raid Near Paris Ruins Equipment
Sheriff and United States Deputy captured a 55 gallon still about a mile north of Paris near Paine Creek after midnight Tuesday. The operation included a buckshot loaded double barrel and a pistol. many witnesses say the outfit had been active long time. The still and arm were destroyed and the cap brought to the sheriff's office for inspection.

Browning Club Hosts Friends for Indian Lecture
The Browning Club met with Mrs. Quincey Ayres on Tuesday afternoon to study North American Indians. Dr Calvin Brown gave an illustrated lecture on Indian Remains in Mississippi. A duet by Mrs Glenn and Mrs Ayres followed, then Indian Love Songs performed by Miss Myra Hume Mary Hume Elizabeth Bell and Margaret Rowsey. Refreshments and social hour completed the program with several guests present.
