Wright, an aged Cotize, passes to the Great Beyond

An obituary notes the death of Mr Wright at 72 after a brief illness on April 2 1916. Born in South Carolina April 6 1843 he spent most of his life in Mississippi towns Marshall Tate and Lafayette and in Oxford since 1910. A Civil War veteran with Company I Mississippi Regiment he was a devoted husband father and church member praised for his steadfast character and service to family and community.
