The chamber rejected an amendment to restrict college age limits, passed a fire prevention bureau measure, funded the code printing, and set salaries for the agriculture commissioner. A governor’s message spurred policy shifts on pine timber land limits, eventually trimming the increase from 10 million to 2.9 million.
