University of Mississippi and Millsaps players competed in University Park games against Nashville with scores 8 to 3 in favor of Nashville, 2 to 14 in favor of Mississippi, and a disputed last game.

An unknown person attempted to wreck the North bound passenger train Sunday night by placing cross ties on the track. no damage occurred.
