Four County Doctors Meet in Oxford to Form Union

Lafayette Yalupusha Marsnall and Benton physicians plan a joint meeting in Oxford on April 16 to organize a Four County Medical Association. The first session will cover business, officer elections, and future meeting plans with papers and discussions on medical topics. New Oxford Buildings To Replace Old Livery Stable

The old livery stable on South Street is to be sold to A J McCaslin of Grenada and K Kolley of Cofreeville. They will start a two story stone building soon, replacing the eye sore. Real tank to visit Oxford on Victory Loan train

A genuine U S Army battle tank over seven tons will ride a special flat car and parade Oxford streets on Thursday April 11. The Victory Loan train will arrive at 7 a m and depart 1 30 p m with soldiers who served overseas giving brief talks.
