Sealed bids will be received by the Town Board at the Town Hall up to 7:30 p.m. October 23, 1913 for laying a water main on East Orford Street from Main Street to the county line, about 655 feet, with a fire plug at the east end. Engineer Halstead Takes Post On Lafayette Main Street Bridge
George Halstead began last week his work as Engineer and Inspector on the new Main street bridge at Lafayette appointed by the county commissioners and county engineers of Tippecanoe county. Rev A W Smith filled his appointments here Sunday and moves his house into the parsonage while Dr Smith proves a promising pastor for the Methodists from Medaryville. Prof Fisher and wife move into the O Leary property on South Main as Spiker family moves into town and takes possession of their new property.
