Widow Coffman Dies After Heart Trouble in Tippecanoe
Mrs. Jane Coffman 76 a lifelong Tippecanoe county resident died suddenly at 3 pm while returning from Montmorenci to Otterbein with her son Arthur and grandson. Coroner Dr Jlannell attributed death to valvular heart trouble. Survived by sons George Joseph and Lida Cottman and daughters Minnie Sherman and Mrs Jerry Thomas. Funeral held at Arthur Coffman home with Rev C S Stewart. interment in Montmorenci cemetery.

Earl Williams Breaks Leg in Barn Accident
Six year old Earl Williams son of Mr and Mrs Thos Williams fell from a hay mow injuring his left arm and leg. Doctor Smith reduced the fracture and the boy was taken to Oxford Hospital for care. George Smith son of Mr and Mrs nk Smith suffered a bad laceration to his leg from a nail in the cob shed side after a fall Tuesday afternoon. He is confined to his room and in pain. Post office also lists uncalled for letters as of August 16 including J A R Aller and others, to be sent to the dead letter office if not claimed.

Annual Conference Nears with Schedule of Services
The pastor urges prompt benevolent subscriptions ahead of the Annual Conference. The Fourth Quarterly Conference is set for September 1. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. Public worship with preaching at 1 a.m. and 7.45 p.m. The Lord's Supper will be administered at the forenoon service. A weekly devotional meeting occurs Wednesday evening.
