Mrs. Odena Detwiler of Rantoul hosts a fall antique tour inviting the public to view her home full of German clocks glassware and curios along with Sylvester's Yesteryears Memories museum and other Franklin County stops open 10 am to 3 pm on October 4. The event showcases family heirlooms carriages buggies and Currier and Ives prints as part of the Franklin County Home Economics Advisory Committee tour.

To Elect Council By ROBERT BOSWORTH
Three public meetings to elect County Extension Council members for Franklin County are scheduled. Nine representatives will be chosen per district across three districts with meetings in Ottawa Princeton and Lincoln Elementary School Ottawa. Speakers include Jim Pett George Wingert and Wint Winter. Any voting aged citizen can participate and be elected. The 1972 Legislature changed from County Agricultural Extension Council to County Extension Council forming 27 members per county across three districts. Nine will represent agriculture nine home economics and nine 4 H youth.
