Alcohol debate at Ottawa Recreation Center floor comments
Ottawa Recreation Commission discussed alcohol on school property during a special meeting at the Goppert Building. Residents argued both for and against permitting alcohol in the new center as plans for rentals and safety were outlined. The board approved rental rates and hours, with insurance requirements and a 11 p.m. on-site activity end time.
