Franklin County EMS faces rising calls and staffing strain
Franklin County EMS is handling more than 11 calls per day as year by year volumes rise. Director Nick Robbins projects about 3,700 calls by year end 2017, up from 2,916 in 2014, with weekend staffing being the main constraint and transfer calls increasing to 15 percent of total.
