George Vincent, Topeka dairy owner and veteran, dies at 86
George Brinton Vincent known as Grandpa George, 86, Topeka, died September 24, 2005. He owned Vincent's Western Wear and a Dairy Queen, served as a master sergeant in World War II with the 80th Infantry Division in Europe, and was active in the Shawnee County Mounted Posse and American Legion. Survived by wife Virginia, a daughter Barbara Burkhardt, a son Bob Vincent, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Cremation followed services at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel with burial at a later date. memorials to Midland Hospice House.
