Senate bill bans commercial Mall events at national area
In a 92 to 4 vote the Senate endorsed a Bingaman measure to bar commercial ads in Mall permits and require that all special event permits ban on structures and signs with ads. The move targets a Pepsi NFL Kickoff Live from the National Mall event that featured Spears Aerosmith Blige and Franklin.
