Justice Black in serious condition after stroke
Former Supreme Court justice Hugo Black, 85, remained in serious condition at Bethesda Naval Hospital after a stroke suffered Monday. Medina Not Bitter Over My Lai Acquittal Ends Army Career
Capt Ernest L Medina was acquitted of murder voluntary manslaughter and assault in the My Lai massacre case. The 35 year old officer said he bears no bitterness toward the Army and plans to resign, despite admitting lapse in control during the 1968 action.
