Elementary and middle schools weigh Silly Bandz policy
In Ottawa and Wellsville districts teachers handle Silly Bandz as minor distractions. Principal Randy Renoud says only one child had bands taken this year, while Wellsville uses them like other incentives. Teachers may confiscate if classroom focus suffers, otherwise bands stay on wrists.
