Flag of Honor gift connects families of 9 11 victims

Scott and Candy Wasser donate a Flag of Honor to the Franklin County Visitor Information Center in Ottawa. The flag bears the names of nearly all those killed in the September 11 attacks and honors their late son, Lance Corporal Christopher Wasser. The gift links to the Vigiano brothers, firefighters and police officers killed on 9 11, whose names appear on the flag and in related memorials. The Wassers founded the Christopher Wasser Memorial Foundation to support Franklin County groups using funds from memorial gifts.
