Texas firm to build manure powered ethanol plant in Kansas
Panda Energy, a Dallas based company, plans a 120 million dollar manure fueled ethanol plant in Haskell County Kansas. The facility will refine about 100 million gallons of ethanol from corn and milo using about one billion pounds of cattle manure annually. Construction starts this year in Texas, with Kansas and Colorado projects due early next year.
