Growth and Outreach at Community Revival Center Church

In 1970 the congregation expanded the church by adding to the front. In 1971 Rev. Virgil E. Mills was ordained as Assistant Pastor. In 1972 the sanctuary was remodeled and four lots across the street were bought for a parking lot. In 1973 remodeling was completed with new pews from Garnett Church Furniture Co. The church, with about 84 members, helped organize two other Revival Centers in Enid Oklahoma and Great Bend Kansas. For three months members have studied the Kennedy evangelism program in preparation for an Ottawa outreach featuring witnessing and salvation themes.
