Gene Moos of the National Association of Wheat Growers warns of 1.8 billion bushels next year if action is not taken, with this year at 1.6 billion and 48 million acres harvested. He calls for greater voluntary land retirement and a higher set aside for 1972 feed grains, up from 20 percent in 1971 to 35 percent, while 1972 wheat set aside is expected at 83 percent of base acreage.
