Ottawa eighth grade football loses opener to Lawrence South 20-8
Ottawa's eighth graders trailed 6-0 early before Vashun Perryman's kickoff return for a touchdown and a Matt Ferguson to Ryan Kaub two point conversion but Lawrence South scored twice in the second half to win. Ottawa seventh graders opened with a win last week 56-20 over Leavenworth Patton, scoring on their first six possessions.
