Parents Charged With Hiding Evidence In Teen Murder Case
In Syracuse Kansas Hamilton County, Matt Maune and Becky Maune were charged with two counts of perjury and one count of obstruction of official duty each for allegedly hiding the murder weapon used in the October 1995 death of Jon Mayers at Love's store. The teen suspect Jason Maune pleaded no contest to felony murder and is serving at least five years in a Topeka youth center.
