Packers Size Impresses Len Dawson in Exhibition

Green Bay defeated Kansas City 20-0 in a late preseason game as the Packers showed a bigger, more physical squad than in earlier clashes. Len Dawson noted Green Bay’s improved size, while the Chiefs, focused on their upcoming regular season opener, struggled offensively and were held without a first down for much of the game. Isaac Thomas intercepted a Dawson pass, Chester Marcol kicked two field goals, and Leland Glass’s 51-yard TD reception helped cement the Packers’ shutout. Green Bay closes preseason 4-2 and opens at Cleveland.
