Ralph Ball of Sterling was named chairman of the Kansas Wheat Commission at the Sept. 5 meeting in Hutchinson. He succeeds R. L. Patterson of Oxford, who has chaired since 1957. Carl A. Dumler of Russell was named vice chairman and Lyle Lukens of Beloit secretary. Patterson, the sole remaining original member, was reappointed in 1962 for a two-year term and serves as vice chairman of Great Plains Wheat, Inc.
