Pomona Votes Raise Water Fees Amid Loan Plan
Pomona residents will pay $5.75 more on monthly water bills while sewer charges drop to $13.75. The water fee funds a town water line project financed by a $642,300 USDA loan and a $1.138 million grant package. Council split on the increase with Keeton and Hewitt in favor, Curtis opposed, Stankard abstaining.
