Nebraska Offense Struggles In Debut Under Beck
Nebraska tightens through familiar quarterback Tay lor Martinez who rushes for 135 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-7 win over Chattanooga. Despite the win and a no huddle triple option plan, offensive line youth and pass protection issues exposed gaps ahead of Big Ten opener at Wisconsin. Martinez audibles often and remains the playmaker, while receivers falter with drops as timing and precision lag. Rex Burkhead adds 75 rushing yards, 52 on one rush, but the running game stalls between tackles.
