Deaths of Dewey T. Skidmore and Dr. C. E. Allison
Dewey T. Skidmore, 56, of Lyndon, died at home after years of ill health. He was born February 14, 1899 in Osage City and survived by his widow Edith, a daughter in Kentucky, a son in the military, three brothers, and three sisters. Funeral at Lyndon Presbyterian Church with burial in Osage City. Dr. C. E. Allison, 75, of Lawrence, died Sunday afternoon. A Baker University faculty member and former Lawrence Methodist pastor, he suffered a stroke and was taken to Lawrence Hospital. services were held in Baldwin with attendees from Ottawa.
