Raiders pick Hobert to start over Hostetler against Chiefs
Oakland coach Mike White declared Billy Joe Hobert the likely starter for Sunday's visit to Kansas City after Jeff Hostetler's first full workout of the season left him not ready to reclaim his quarterback job. Hostetler, wearing a knee brace, said he wants in if not starting, while noting doors remain open. The Raiders have dropped seven straight since Hostetler's shoulder injury last year.
