Kansas Residents Urged to Consider Earthquake Insurance
After recent quakes across the Midwest including Colorado Oklahoma and Illinois Kansas officials advise residents to consider earthquake insurance. Franklin County emergency management director Alan Radcliffe says the decision is personal and he has not purchased coverage. He urges planning for any disaster as Franklin County sits near fault lines along Atchison and Riley counties with the Humboldt Fault Zone marking the Nemaha Ridge boundary from Omaha to Oklahoma City.
