Ottawa U Braves football rebuilds with youth and hope
OU's 1978 football outlook centers on about 50 newcomers under head coach John Salavantis, with only a dozen or so of 32 returning lettermen from 77. A season opener at Bethany caps a long preseason, while injuries to Tom Pratt and Mark Hubbard temper optimism as Salavantis builds a foundation around a young roster and a few veterans.
