Former Ottawan really was a rocket scientist
Obituary recalls C R Bob Staadt 83 NASA design contractor born April 30 1918 in Ottawa. He moved from Warner Manufacturing to Lockheed then served in WW II. Staadt helped develop Titan missiles at Vandenberg and NASA Apollo program designs, holding many patents. Survived by wife Florence, four sons, daughter Lana, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
