First Christian Church Ottawa 130 Years of Ministry Celebrated
The First Christian Church of Ottawa marked 130 years of service to God with a weekend celebration after Sunday service. Speakers included Dr. Roy Browning Jr. of Topeka and Rev. Don Richardson of Tahlequah. From 1864 to 1964 the church traced its growth from Anderson Hall to a brick Cedar Street church, and onward through flood recovery and new construction.
