Higinio Lara, attorney for Sharon Kinne of Independence Missouri, says bail may be granted soon as she is held in a Mexico City jail for the Sept 18 shooting of Francisco Parades Ordonez. Lara says an amparo filing could lead to release on self defense grounds with potential five year maximum penalty. Kansan Dies in Runway Collision at Barber Point
Honolulu AP reports Chief Petty Officer Daniel Earl Anderson, 33, was killed when his truck collided with a jet trainer aircraft on a runway at Barber’s Point Naval Air Station near Honolulu. Anderson’s parents are Mr and Mrs Lennie Anderson of Neodesha Kansas. He is survived by his widow and three children of Honolulu.
