Doege leads a high scoring run after tough loss
After three interceptions in a loss to Oklahoma the senior has surged with 499 yards and six touchdowns against West Virginia followed by 318 yards and seven TDs versus Texas Tech. Doege says he is enjoying the ride and not chasing Heisman hype as defenses key to big 12 prospects dominate the headlines. The Wildcats and Red Raiders rank among the nation’s top defenses while Oklahoma State quarterbacks draw focus for Saturday's clash. Arthur Brown credits practice for the team’s improving performance as WVU’s Geno Smith sees two early picks and a late touchdown drought.
