Kansas Bull Test Station yields strong gains for bulls

Top gainer is a Simmental at 5.09 pounds daily. Administrators Keith Zoellner and Herman Westmeyer note the aim is to identify high gainers for breeders to use, not to compare breeds. Final weighing is Nov 8 with auction Nov 15 at Mitchell County fairgrounds Beloit starting 12:30 p.m. Bulls available for inspection from 9 a.m. The program is sponsored by the Kansas Livestock Association and E State Extension Service. Facilities are provided by Solomon Valley Feedyard.
