Club Notes and WSCS Reorganization Reported
Music club The 88 Keys Music Club entertained at the Stoneking home with piano solos and duets by members students of Mrs Neal Baxter. Fourteen members and 13 guests attended. Upcoming events include Mitzi and Julie Dillon hosting in November at the Richard Dillon home. Union Chapel United Methodist WSCS held a Call to Prayer and Self Denial service with leadership by Mrs Harold French and Mrs Russell Saveage. A luncheon followed and Peoria EUB joined for a charter meeting to reorganize WSCS. Seventeen members signed the charter. Leisure Hour Club hosted by Mrs Lee Hermreck featured slides on a Jamaica trip with eleven members and four guests attending. The FLA Club met at Mrs James Berry home with roll call about free trips and prize wins. Next meetings planned for mid November.

Halloween Party for Shandi Cole Draws Forty Young Guests
A Halloween party was held Thursday evening for Shandi Cole, two, daughter of Mr and Mrs Gerald Cole of 6035 Sycamore. Fourteen children and their mothers attended. Children wore costumes, played games, and heard stories. Refreshments included decorated cookies cupcakes and fruit punch. Decorations featured orange and black crepe streamers.
