Midget League fills Garfield Grade School Saturdays
Ottawa Midget League features Garfield Lincoln Hawthorne and Eugene Field in two games each Saturday on Garfield grounds. Ottawa University students coach the pint sized players who practice hard, with colorful lingo like red dog and button hook, while fans, mascots and referees prepare for a lively morning of play with a tiny football and a big show.
