Charm And Glamour Differ At Topeka Achievement Day

Mrs. Doran Kaufman of Topeka told Franklin County HDU women that charm begins in the cradle and grows with age, not glamour, and comes from within a love for people. She discussed self confidence, dressing, etiquette, and voice, with a focus on women in business schools and the YWCA. The youthful speaker, mother of four, urged happiness and interest in people. Rosemary Crist introduced her, as Mrs. Jacoby and others presided over a program with songs, a skit, and exhibits. A covered dish luncheon followed the event's morning activities.
