The group discussed the Days Art Show and whether to hold it again next year. The decision was tabled for now, with a meeting set for next November 15 at the home of Janet Broers. Members are asked to bring hats, gloves, and scarves for Hope House.
Wanda Durbin and Steve Vossler tied for first and second with Billie Burcham and David Leitch in Garnett on October 12. Burcham and Leitch won the October 19 event. Mary Margaret Thomas and Vossler were second, Durbin and Tom Pearler third. The Garnett Duplicate Bridge Club meets 7 pm every Wednesday at the Garnett Inn. all bridge players are welcome.

New officers are Tobie Roberts president Morgan Barber vice president Josef Woodruff secretary David Woodruff treasurer Alex Barber reporter Philip Swank recreation leader Allison Swank song leader. Community leaders: Michelle Roberts Sandy Woodruff Kristina Swank. Afterward members roasted hot dogs and hobo pies, took a wagon ride, and played.
Seventeen KLA members from across the state spent three days Oct 4 6 touring beef and dairy operations. They learned feeding rations risk management and how beef is processed for delivery while previewing milk production and cattle care. OKLA is a trade organization representing member business interests at state and federal levels.
