Candy murals and gumball art by Edinboro professor
Edinboro University professor Franz Spohn created about three dozen murals using gumballs and other candies to form images of dogs fish and even Albert Einstein. His move from Plexiglas squashing to computer aided design lets him plan colors and counts for six foot works. He says pixels inspired the concept and that 110 tubes of 130 gumballs each are needed for a single mural.
