Rooftop Gizmo hits auction record at Abilene NGA sale
Abilene Kansas saw a 16 month old greyhound named Rooftop Gizmo set a record at the National Greyhound Association semiannual auction. Potter bred raised Gizmo and sold ten dogs for 274200 dollars, including 45000 for Gizmo's littermate Rooftop Rip Cord. Gary Weber bought Gizmo planning to race in Wheeling West Virginia where purses are higher.

Ronald Lee Badders 62 of Burleson Texas died Tuesday October 14 2003 at the V A Hospital in Dallas. Graveside services with military honors will be 11 a m Saturday at Garnett Cemetery. He served in the U S Navy 1961 1966 and was an automobile salesman. Survivors include his mother in Ottawa eight brothers and three sisters. Memorials may be sent to the Ronald Badders memorial fund. The family will receive friends at 10 a m Saturday at the funeral home.
