Homewood septic dispute prompts county review
Franklin County Commissioners heard Larry Graham raise concerns about a possibly failing septic tank on his 1.5 acre Homewood property bought from former owner Jim Privett who is now in Tennessee. Sanitarian Rory Hale had said the tank violated regulations, but Graham disputed whether a failure exists and noted weekly site checks. The issue will be discussed again later, while other business covered zoning enforcement, survey marker uncharges, railroad brush removal along Nebraska Drive, a bed liner cost dispute, gravel road complaints, a tax drop box, and potential purchases of artist R L Kapitan’s courthouse photos.
