Bank standoff ends peacefully as deputy escorts hostages
Chad Louviere, 24, wearing a bank uniform, led a 24 hour standoff in OUMA Louisiana, as a teller Pamela Duplantis, 27, was shot in the head during the incident. A deputy sheriff exiting with his estranged wife and a hostage preceded a concussive action by officers. Louviere was taken to Terrebonne Parish sheriff’s department with no charges filed.

Frank C. Marconette 86 of Ottawa died Thursday October 17 1996. Funeral at 2 p.m. Monday at Lamb Roberts Funeral Home with Rev Jim Furnas officiating. Burial in Highland Cemetery. He was born January 15 1910 and lived in Wyoming Ottawa and Franklin County with additional time in Osage and Douglas counties. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad Hercules Powder Sunflower Depot and later as a cement finisher and equipment operator. He married Iane Geiss December 15 1943 in Ottawa. Survivors include seven sons eight daughters and numerous grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family invites memorials to the Church of the Nazarene in care of the funeral home.
