Mission brings gospel to lonely mariners at Providence dock
In Providence a seafarers mission trailer near a port pier offers solace for sailors after weeks at sea. Chaplain Rev. Douglas Johnson provides listening aid and practical help while selling basic supplies, with services and visits to ships helping break isolation. The effort spans multiple ports and nationalities, aiding crews facing hard personal situations.
