Skateboard Contest Raises Funds for New Park in Wichita

Baldwin seniors Pressgrove Adams win Maple Leaf scholarships
Baldwin High School seniors David Pressgrove and Kaci Adams won $500 Maple Leaf Festival Committee scholarships and will join the Maple Leaf Parade at 11 a.m. Saturday. Pressgrove, son of Martin and Barbara Pressgrove, is active in sports, theater and band, a National Honor Society member, and Student Council vice president. Adams, daughter of Randy and Barb Adams, attended American Legion Girls State, serves as Student Council president, is a National Honor Society member, and was Baldwin High School’s 1997 homecoming queen.
